LAUNCH Camp 2025

On July 12, CNBN members spent the day at LAUNCH Camp. Established in 2017, Leaders and Adolescents Uniting to Navigate Careers in Healthcare, Inc. (LAUNCH) is a non-profit organization that works to close the educational gap and provide healthcare career exploration to K - 12th grade students from underrepresented backgrounds. LAUNCH Camp gives students hands-on learning experiences with healthcare professionals to inspire future careers in healthcare. 

Students were exposed to fun and attention-grabbing activities directly from healthcare professionals. Learning about various healthcare profession choices allows students to gain access to a larger realm of career choices and to decide their personal best career path.

This year Dr. Kendra Broussard DNP Founder & President hosted 215 students, which made this the largest group ever. For the third year, members of the CNBN were tasked with introducing a small group of six and seven year olds to the basics of checking their heart rates and performing CPR, as well as understanding the importance of physical activity and hydration.
