On March 26th, the chapter participated in Cher Best Sisters Only Club’s 2023 Women’s Health and Beauty Expo. The event was held at the Julian Smith Casino in Augusta and was very well attended. Several CNBN members represented the chapter and provided breast cancer education and blood pressure readings to more than 50 visitors. Members also visited the many tables and displays that represented organizations such as AARP, Department of Public Health, a local self-protection agency, a law firm representing African American women experiencing cancer related to hair straightening products, and many more. Small business owners were on hand with an array of useful beauty and health products. There was even a fashion show to entertain the attendees. It was a very good day.
